Paraphrase the following quote "There are forms of oppression and domination which become invisible - the new normal"

Oppression and domination are often concealed and this could be considered as a novel common situation. This is my paraphrase and it could mean for example that in modern society where the individual has a lot of freedom as mentioned by Erich Fromm that this situation can lead to isolation and being alienated from the big enterprises in which many people work and where the individual feels like just a small cog in a big wheel.
