    Slant rhyme is a type of rhyme which is formed by the words which have not identical sound but have similar sounds. It is also known as Half rhyme or imperfect rhyme and sometimes is also known as near rhyme or lazy rhyme. When the words contain either the same vowel segments or consonant segments they become a Slant rhyme.

    Examples of slant rhyme can be:

    ‘t’ in Hat, cut.

    ‘on’ in Poison and person.

    ‘nes’ in Lanes and lines
