What two factors most strongly influence Macbeth's descent into moral corruption?

Oh man I watched the play this year for school but already I seem to have forgotten it but I would say 1.) his greediness and hunger for power and 2.) Lady Macbeth's greediness and hunger for power and the throne. It's probably more complex than that, but that's what I remember.

Also how he was obsessed with other people's children not getting the throne.
