The following question is based on your reading of A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare.

When the mechanicals can't find Bottom, what do they think has happened to him?

a. He has been carried away by the fairies.

b. He has been killed.

c. He has been turned into a fairy

d. He has fallen in love.

    b. He has been killed.

    The mechanicals see a monster (really just Bottom with a donkey's head from Puck's spell) and all scatter, screaming and running away. When they can't find Bottom they assume that he has been killed in the woods, probably by the monster.
