connect Duncan’s lines in I. 6 to his lines in I. 4 lines 28-32 ("Welcome hither ... hold thee to my heart). What do these passages reveal about Duncan as a character?

Duncan is so happy and excited when he gets to the castle, and praises Lady Macbeth for how nice, warm, and welcoming she is. What he doesn't know, but the audience does, is that she is already planning on killing him, which is what makes this dramatic irony.
