Persuasion is the act of encouraging someone to believe or do something.

If I were to persuade my parents into something, I'd want to persuade them into letting me live on campus for college. three goals I would need in my speech to accomplish this is:

1. A good argument - actuation

2. Why I want to live on campus (kind of like 1) - stimulation

3. how it would benefit me and them - convincing
