    The answer to your question is B. To convince others to read Jane Austen. Most of the "story" consists of Aunt Fay "explaining" Austen's life and times to her niece who has dyed her hair punkette style and who has to read Austen for school--and isn't looking forward to it. She was inspired by this and decided to bring light to the glory that is Jane Austen/Austen's writing.
