Jackie Hart is a funny and sarcastic

12 year old girl who's favorite thing to do is make people laugh.

She's the class clown in school, but unfortunately the teacher's don't find her that amusing. She gets 10 detentions on the first day of school. She has 2 options: she can either do the 25 detentions or participate in the school play, Charlie Brown.

She's not that confident about the play, because she's had a stutter since kindergarten. Meanwhile she and her sisters are home alone most of the time, because her mother is working overseas and her dad is spending most of his time with a cute lifeguard.
