What is the trend of the land as you travel eastward from the rocky mountains to the applalachian mountains

    From the rocky mountains to the Appalachians I would say is flat open ranges, large fields, long roads, farm land, and not many mountains or hills until you actually get into the east. So it's pretty much all flat and open
