The process of transferring thermal energy by the use of thermal radiation and heat conduction or convection is called cooling. There are six main types of textures; phaneritic, aphanitic, porphyritic, glassy, pyroclastic and pegmatitic. So these textures undergo thermal radiation and convection in order to form as igneous rocks. These textures depend on the cooling process done on these igneous rocks.
