How many hours of daylight does New York State experience on the spring equinox?

    Most north locations on earth experience slightly over 12 hours of daylight, as well as the position of sunrise and sunset.

    I would say that New York State would have most likely about 16 hours of daylight at the longest day on the spring equinox ie dark at 10PM and light at about 6AM but this is assuming daylight saving time. After the spring equinox the days start getting shorter until about Dec. 17th when they start becoming longer again. Actually it should be about 12 hours.
