    Myanmar also known as Burma is an emerging economy with a nominal GDP of $74,000 billion in 2018. Factors that prevent Myanmar's economic development are, Industries like, Garment production, Illegal drug trade, Oil and gas, Gemstones, Tourism, and external trade. It is also followed by the macro-economic trends as Foreign investments and foreign aid. Their major agricultural production is rice which covers about 60% of the country's total cultivated land area. Burma is the largest producer of methamphetamine in the world. And it is the 2nd largest supplier of opium.
