The star alpha centauri a is the same type of star as the sun, but its luminosity is about 1.6 times that of the sun. what can we conclude?

    The amount of luminosity is how much light the particular star gives off. If the star Alfa Centauri only gives off 1.6 times the suns light then this star is much smaller than the sun even thought they are the same type of star.
