What does it mean to say that a species has a wide niche breadth? it is found in large, contiguous populations-not metapopulations. it has lasted a long time in the fossil record (species did/has existed for a relatively long time). it can use a wide array of values of a particular resource or tolerate an array of conditions. it is found over a wide geographic area?
