How does global warming affect the environment?

Global warming can affect the environment by causing polar ice caps to melt and therefore animals such as penguins or polar bears would eventually become extinct and excessive water due to all that melting would cause floods or an excessive amount of water.

It can lead to melting ice caps, and the death of many species of animals
