Fred Veilleux used evidence as one persuasive technique in his literary piece, ‘Indians Are a People Not Mascots.’ He included a personal story or an anecdote about the humiliation of an eight-year old son of a friend to stir emotions of readers. He also inserted facts about dehumanizing Indians which has led to genocide. He used persuasive technique to let the people feel and imagine if they were to be put in his shoes.
