The preamble of the US Constitution is the brief introductory statement, summarizing the purpose and principles. They state that their aims are to establish a unity of equality, protection, prosperity for all, and to enshrine human freedoms. To the Constitution, the government is bound to ensure these values are upheld and honored by its people. Whether or not the Government maintains these freedoms and rights is, however, a debate. Known as a country where people are free, slavery, malpractice, war, and other injustices and racism do exist. With its intent clear, the United States was created with a vision of guaranteeing these provisions, however, as in every culture, ideas and liberties are often adapted and changed.
