How does ocean circulation impact climate?

Ocean temp causes climate change because the ocean absorbs sunlight, making the earth warmer, and in turn primarily making the water warmer and colder in different regions, which will cause minute apnospheric pressure differences which then snow ball into clouds, storms, hurricanes etc.
