Meteorology is the study of the weather conditions of a particular region. The study of meteorology looks at the atmospheric pressure, wind, cloud cover, humidity, temperature, sunshine and precipitation. Both subjects are related as the geography of different areas is responsible for the weather conditions experienced there. For example, mountainous regions on tropical island create the right conditions to produce relief rainfall.
