If the earth stops rotating on its axis, what kind of changes would you expect?

    If the earthed stopped spinning on its axis, it would cause the oceans to move towards the poles. One day would last a year, and everywhere, six months would be daylight, not night time. The uneven distribution of temperature would heat up the ocean and land, up to 100 degrees Celcius
