Geography affects culture in a way the way of life and survival of the people depends on the geography like the people in the Sahara who lived the way the desert dictates and the people in the Eskimos who lived the way the coldness and winter dictates them how and the way of life should they follow. Traditions and beliefs also depends on the geography they lived.

The impact of geography to the culture differs depending on where the people are near, like for example the mountains or oceans. Living in the mountains will develop a culture that is adapting to high altitude by wearing heavy clothing, also climbing often might result to be physically stronger body. While people living near the ocean will adapt to wearing light clothing, swimming and fishing as a part of the culture.
