The solar system constitute of sun, planets and all other object that revolve around the sun. When we represent the solar system on a scale then the size of the planets would be all in the size of marbles and the stars that are near would be thousands of miles away.

If we represent the solar system on a scale that allows us to walk from the Sun to Pluto in a few minutes, then: the planets would all be very very small and the nearest stars would be thousands of miles away. In reality the planets are incredibly far apart from one another and from the Sun.
