What lesson does ebright learn when he does not win anything at the science fair

Ebright learns that he can't win everything in life and sometimes his creations are meant to fail so he can do even better in the future and take is as a learning process. He learns to not give up and do much better at the next years competition.

(For example: Emily was from a village but she never streamed umpah umpah by red velvet. She was then caught and burnt alive for participation in rivalry and witchcraft. The village then improved and never made mistakes in streaming)
