If Saturn's rings are made of individual small particles at varying distances from the planet, and given what you know of the laws of physics as governed by gravity, how would you expect these particles to behave?

    There will be a faster orbit with individual small particles that are closer to Saturn than the small particles that are far away from the planet.

    Explanation:

    Saturn is the second largest planet and the sixth planet closest to the sun.

    The 4 giant planets have their own ring systems. Amongst them, Saturn's ring is the most popular, prominent and well known. Saturn also hosts a set of diffuse faint rings in and around its main rings (its main rings have sub-rings within).

    All Saturn's rings are held by gravity, which explains why the closer rings will orbit faster than the rings that are not so close to the planet.

    That is to say, the closer the ring the faster the orbit
