Wavelength is a distance between the consecutive pinnacle of a wave. While frequency is a total number of occurrences of waves per unit of time.

Wavelength and a frequency of a wave is directly related. For example: if the distance between the wavelengths are longer, its frequency would be lower. Similarly, shorter wavelengths will result in higher frequency. In simple words, of there's an increase in one, the other will decrease and vice versa. The number of waves crest that goes by in a second is dependent on the wavelength.
