The displacement of the astronaut orbiting the Earth in a space shuttle will be zero.

    Since,

Displacement is determined by initial position and the final position of an object.

The distance traveled by the astronaut is a circular pathway,

    hence,

The displacement of the astronaut is equal to zero as he arrives at the exact same position from where he started his journey.
