Public policies aimed at the efficiency of the Japanese rail system are established with the aim of creating a harmonious, as well as efficient, transport system.

The "harmony" factor is taken very seriously in the Japanese road system. This is because the railway companies believe that man is the result of the environment in which he lives, that is why they establish factors that reduce the stress and anxiety of the population that uses this means of transport, with the aim of promoting a more relaxed population that will be able to generate better results at work, at school and even at home.

These factors are established through the speed of transport, punctuality, space and even a selection of relaxing music. Although the road system also has its flaws, it was built with a social vision and a concern for the physical and psychological harmony of society, which is very much appreciated in Japanese culture.
