    The answer is A.

    When we talk about depression in geology then we mean a landform that is below the surrounding area. Most depressions form by erosion by wind. When a strong wind blows on a sand dune ecosystem or an ecosystem on dry soil it can erode the soil and leave a very deep depression in comparison to the surrounding ground that is usually rocky or not dry or sandy.
