How does location affect a city's economic activities?

    Based on whatever natural resources you have in that location that is your economy is going to be. Example: In Indus, one of the first river valley civilizations, they often had monsoons. Because of the monsoons, the people were always rebuilding, which is why they were poor and had a bad economy.
