Nature in the Middle East makes harsh for people to live in that area, due to its difficult climatic conditions.

The climate in the Middle East is dominated by desert climate, heat and drought for long periods, which leaves a harsh and dry landscape behind. The dry climate contributes to the shortage of water, which is also affected by an increased population, environmental degradation and watercourses becoming salty. The largest rivers are the Nile, Euphrates and Tigris, which throughout history have contributed to a lush and vibrant landscape in the otherwise dry region.
