Where is Hawaii located

Hawaii is located in the Pacific Ocean. It is 2,100 miles southwest of the mainland United States.

Hawaii Island is located in the north of pacific ocean, extends around 2,400 K. M from Hawaii in the south to Kure Atoll in the north and they are an archipelago of 8 major islands and numerous small Islets, the Hawaiian Islands has a total land area of 16,636.5 square kilometres.

It is the 50th State of united states all islands except Midway was administrated by Hawaiian government. These islands were known as sandwich Islands formerly, sandwich island name was given by James cook, these Islands are politically under united states but geographically they do not have any connection with North America.

These Islands are exposed peaks of undersea mountain ranges named as Hawaiian - emperor sea mountain chain.
