    Earth

    Explanation:

The moon is the natural satellite of earth and was formed about 4.5 billion years back when the initially forming earth collided with a Mars-like planetesimal during the Hadean eon. This resulted in the detachment of a mass of rock body that eventually led to the formation of the moon and it started revolving around the earth due to their sharing of strong gravitational force.

Due to this formation of the moon from the earth, it was comprised of minerals that are similar to the composition of the earth.

Thus, after the rock samples from the moon were studied and identified and dated, the scientists have concluded that the minerals found on the moon probably derived from the earth.

    Answer

Earth, for example the lunar rock

    Explanation

The composition of the 1.8 gram lunar rock that was collected by astronauts aboard the Apollo 14 mission contained minerals similar to a granite. The sample also contained quartz that was unusual to be located on the Moon. The lunar crust contained plagioclase feldspar and the lunar mantle had pyroxene and olivine.
