    Answer: Desert pavement

Explanation: When wind in dry areas such as the desert takes away small particles of stone and sand, the surfaces remain known as a dessert pavement. These are tiny remnants of rocks or gravel that are firmly nailed, that is, sandblasted, and thus form pavement-like plateaus. When small parts of rocks and sand are removed by wind, larger parts of rocks and gravel are left, which are trapped by rain, thermal expansion, the passing of animals, etc.
