    Sillimanite forms at a high temperature condition, andalusite forms at a moderate temperature and pressure condition, and lastly, kyanite forms at a high pressure condition. Staurolite also forms at high temperature-pressure condition.

    This four minerals forms when a rock undergoes metamorphism and are usually found in metamorphic rocks such as schist, gneiss and granulite.
