HIV/AIDS is a deadly and dangerous disease caused by Human Immuno Deficiency virus. This usually destroys and harms immune system in humans by destroying white blood cells. AIDS is expanded as Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome.

Absolutely geographers try to explore the morphological studies of particular diseases or HIV/AIDS. They began to study how are they transmitted and their physical characteristics in particular region and began to report that many diseases like malaria, TB, etc. As we all know December 1st world AIDS day, its important create awareness, sex education for youth, educate the people what all should be done to prevent the infection. Always prevention is better than cure, education plays a vital role in fighting the HIV especially for girls because they usually get affected with this during their Pregnancy or Delivery. That's why it is very important when women become pregnant they are asked to go for screening for HIV. Government should conduct awareness program to make aware of this in different regions especially who are below poverty line.
