    Explanation:

    North part of Europe is started to called as Norden before 19^{th} century. According to United Nations, it is a geographical region that consists 8 Nordic countries. They are "Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden".

    The landscapes of the countries are surrounded by the North Sea, the Atlantic Ocean, the Arctic Ocean and the Baltic Sea. This area in Europe approximately has north of Southern coast of Baltic Sea, 54°N. Northern Europe's population is relatively small when compared to other regions of the European continent.
