    The statement is - True.

Every country has its own unique philosophy and approach when it comes to immigration. The reasons for the differences are numerous, and they can vary greatly.

The USA for example is a country of immigrants theoretically speaking. It is also a country that has controlled immigration and has been largely choosing who the country will allow to enter it, work in it, and eventually become citizen. Also, the USA is a country that has a huge problem with illegal immigration, but it seems to be much more laid off and is not very harsh towards the illegal immigrants in general.

Hungary, on the other hand is country that has very strictly regulated immigration, where very few people, specifically chosen, are allowed to live in the country. It is also very strict when it comes to illegal immigration, with lot of border patrols, not giving asylum, and getting back the migrants from when they came from if they broke the law.

And we have countries like Turkmenistan, where usually there's not people that are willing to migrate there, but if they want, they will get rejected, or if they cross the border illegally will end up dead or in jail.
