Before I went to study in Australia, I didn't know many Indians, the information I got about India was usually from movies and news. I thought Indians were very traditional, girls usually had long hair and were good at dancing and singing. Indian guys were very romantic, young people must respect senior people, boy had to flee with his lover secretly just because his parents didn't agree with the marriage, usually because of the girl's poor background ... you know just things usually portrayed in movies.
