What two clues does the author provide that lead you to conclude that he is making an ethical appeal?

    Ethical appeal is a method of persuation that is used by an author. It depends on how credible the author is.

    An author must be an authority in what ever subject is writing about. Hence, When it is noticed that the author is knowledgeable about the subject he is writing about it is a clue to an ethical appeal.

    Role or Character - To make an ethical appeal the author's character or role in his environment music have been felt and this can be used as a medium of communication. Hence, when this is present in a writing its a clue to an ethical appeal.
