The study of the relationship between culture and place. cultural geography basically refers to the cultural values, practices, and material expressions, the cultural diversity of society, and how cultures are distributed all around the world, how the identities are produced, how people from different places interact and build senses of place.

Cultural Geography is the field of Human Geography which focuses "upon the patterns and how human cultures interact, both material and non-material, in relation to the natural environment and the organization of human in space.
