    Hi,

    Free trade will;

    • Increase economic growth

    • Create a more dynamic business environment

    • Lower government spending

    • Facilitate technology transfer

    Explanation

    A free trade agreement is a treaty that regulates the tariffs, tax and duty imposed by countries on imports and exports. For example the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). NAFTA is able to boost economic growth of the region by 0.5% every year. Free trade eliminates protection on businesses motivating them to attain global competition. Subsides that are removed due to free trade agreements can be used by the government to fund other projects.

    Best wishes!
