Why could global warming lead to the increase in the number and intensity of hurricanes?

    Global warming could lead to the increase in the number and intensity of hurricanes because in order for hurricanes to form, you need to have warm, circulating air. Global warming is getting increasingly worse which is contributing to the amount of hurricanes and how intense they are.
