Why would the construction of railroads in central america have encouraged the spread of plantations and market - oriented agriculture?

    Being able to move around the country on train would allow more stuff, in this case, more cane sugar to circulate the economy. One of the many challenges of an economy is the delievery and availability of goods and services, so having railroads built in the country would allow more agriculture to be grown and shared in the food market.
