In Europe, the climate and geography influenced, where people lived, what crops could be grown, how people traveled, and where major cities developed, true or false?

    You find few major cities in mountainous, non-volcanic areas; they tend to be coastal cities or by a river which are locations where trade is easy. Trade is a major factor in the development of a city as are the attainment of goods that are tradeable (crops etc need fertile land like deltas and temperate conditions).
