Which religion was practiced in Oceania before the arrival of Europeans?

Traditional aboriginal religions were practiced in Oceania before the arrival of Europeans. Since Oceania describes many different countries in the same part of the world, there were different religions practiced, however they would not be considered today as the "big" monotheistic religions and do not have as large of a following as they used to.
