Awareness around the plight of refugees (possible solutions

The key word here is "awareness" - so the question is, how do we spread awareness about the plight of the refugees?

Here are some ideas:

-writing newspaper articles which include personal stories and possibly interviews

-making news reports showing the everyday life of refugees

-inviting the refugees to speak in a local institution, for example a school.
