    Some of the things that would effect the damage of the building would be 1) The intensity of the earthquake. Some earthquakes do hardly any damage while others with a greater force can cause major harm. 2) Another thing is how far away the building is from the epicenter. Obviously, buildings closer to the earthquake will be damaged more than those miles away. 3) The third is the structure of the building. Some buildings are made to stand up to earthquakes well, while other residential homes might be prone to collapsing easily.
