We would not survive nor thrive as a species. We need fruits and vegetables to survive. The only thing we don't need is meat. We can get more protein from vegetables than meat. Vegetation plays a big role in basic survival for humans. Agriculture is a big part of everyone's culture. Agriculture is what allowed us to settle down and form great cities. Since early humans were hunters and gatherer's.
