Can any area or mountain have a volcanic eruption? which areas are prone to volcanic eruptions?

Well not any area of mountain can have an eruption. It would be possible if the mountain had a magma chamber that contained molten lava. Usually areas that are in a mountain chain ridge like the mountains along the side of Chile or either isolated islands kind of like Hawaii.
