In a short paragraph, explain why Roman Catholicism is the dominant religion in Latin America. What kinds of historical factors have contributed to so many Latin Americans adopting this religious heritage?

    The Spanish colonized some of the islands in the Caribbean and all of what is now known as Latin America. The main religion in Spain is Roman Catholicism, meaning that when the Spanish came, they spread their culture (religion, language, architecture, etc.). Also the Spanish reduced a lot of what the native indigenous tribes have created.
